Extinction Rebellion will be bringing their Change Is Now tour to Swansea's National Waterfront Museum on Wednesday 28th September 2022 at 5pm.
The tour is travelling all over the UK to bring people together and empower them to act in the face of the climate crisis, to share ideas and to demand a Citizens’ Assembly on Climate and Ecological Justice. Guest speaker Ousmane Toure from the Ivory Coast will be talking about climate change in West Africa and how the ONG RICCDD is mobilising to take action there and around the world, before breaking to hold a peoples assembly focused on the topic of
" What can we do in our local areas to support each other in light of the climate and ecological emergency? "
As many of our passionate Green activists are also members of XR we are expecting to see a strong turnout. The event is free and open to all, registration is via the following link.
